A seven night cruise round the Norwegian Fjords. This was our first cruise with P & O and our third cruise in total. But, this was the best by far. The ship was immaculate and the crew were always making sure it was spick and span. The food in the Meridian restaurant was brilliant and with a choice to suite everyone. The buffet retaurant (Belvedere) was just as good with choices ranging from a salad to a lamb curry. The only down side with the Belvedere was the seating. It paid to choose a quite time to eat otherwise you might struggle to find a seat. The entertainment varied in quality. The individual acts were very good. But the shows put on by the ships entertainment group were a bit disappointing. The Norwegian Fjords were breath taking. All the ports of call looked straight out of a picture postcard. The excurions were good and the guides excellent. A big down side was, the glaciers and mountains were a big drain on my cameras memory. ( must taken a bigger memory card with me next time). We will certainly travel with P&O again and will most probably go back for a two week cruise. The child free environment was a big plus for us. No screaming kids leaping in the pool. Just a very relaxed trip. |
