Nessebar is one of the oldest ports in Bulgaria. Jutting out into the Black Sea this small peninsula is home to a wealth of architecture including 18th and 19th century wooden houses. Since 1987 Nessebar has been declared a UNESCO Heritage Site.
Bulgarian Traditions: We head to the Balkan Mountains through beautiful countryside to the village of Erketch which has hardly been touched by the modern world. Nessebar Walking Tour and Wine Tasting: We walk around the cobbled streets and view the houses preserved from the 19th century, and numerous churches. We also visit a vineyard where we can sample the local wines.
