Cruises to Arran, Scotland, United Kingdom

Port description

Located on the south west coast of Scotland, the beautiful island of Arran is only 20 miles long and 56 miles around.  Surprisingly because of its mild climate thanks to the Gulf Stream, the island has palm trees and a wealth of picturesque villages.  Arran is cut in half by the Highland Boundary fault, this geographical fault makes the south gentle and low lying, whilst the north is rugged and hilly.  Arran has castles and monuments and a wealth of wildlife including deer, seals and birds.  From the main port of Brodick you can take cycling tours, pony treks and enjoy yachting and the golf courses.
