Singapore was declared a British Colony in 1953 after being founded by Sir Thomas Raffles in 1819. Today Singapore is a fascinating cosmopolitan city full of fantastic restaurants, shops, cafes historical sites, monuments, and parks/gardens. Singapore is also home to one of the most famous hotel in the world Raffles, where the original Singapore Gin Sling was created, and a tiger strolled through the bar of the hotel. Also visit Orchard Street which is fantastic for shopping.
Ins and Outs of Singapore: We take different modes of transport around the city, subway, River Boat and Trishaw to view an array of sights that have made Singapore famous. Spirit of Singapore: We begin our excursion passing the Victoria Theatre, the Victoria Memorial Hall, Parliament House, the Supreme Court, City Hall, St Andrews Cathedral, Raffles Hotel and the famous Merlion Statue. We also get time to pass the beautiful Sultan Mosque before we stop at the Sri Mariamman Hindu Temple.
