The first capital of the Galapagos, Floreana Island was where Charles Darwin met the Viceroy of Galapagos. The islands are world renowned for their diversity in nature and Darwin’s theory of evolution.
Cormorant Point: This famous location is where two unusual plant species grow and are found nowhere else in the world. Cormorant point is also a marvellous place to see an array of birds including flamingos, stilts and white checked pintail ducks. You can also snorkel in the Devil’s Crown Volcanic Cone where you can see grouts, groupers, chubs and spotted eagle rays. Also look out for the white-tipped reef sharks.
