Port description
Veraval was once the fortified port town of the Royal family of Junagadh, of which the Junagadh gate and Patan gate still remain. Veraval is also a large fishing port where you can watch thousands of trawlers unload their daily catch. Places of interest are the Nawabi Palace with its many Gothic features, the popular Porbander beach, Gir National Park and the many busy craft stores.
