Cefalu is a beautiful place to discover, unspoilt and off the tourist track. It is full of medieval streets, beautiful restaurants and tremendous sandy beaches. Cefalu is also home to one of the most impressive Norman-Arab-Byzantine churches, one of the greatest in Southern Europe. There is a wonder of archaeological sites, including the ruins of a large fortress and an ancient Sicanian-Greek temple. In the city there is an impressive array of medieval buildings including a guesthouse where King Roger stayed during his visit to Cefalu.
