Located on the eastern shores of Hawaii, Hilo was only an old sugar town and is now described as the flower capital of Hawaii. There are some marvellous things to see and do in Hilo, including Queen Liliuokalani Park which is an authentic Japanese garden, or Kilavea the largest volcano in the world, which is situated in the Volcano National Park.
Hilo and Kilauea Volcano: On this tour we combine sightseeing in Hilo and a visit to Kilauea Volcano. We start by driving through Hilo and then head through the tropical forest to the amazing Volcanoes National Park, where we can visit the Jagger Museum and drive along the 11 mile Crater Rim Drive.Best of Hilo: This tour takes in three major attractions in Hilo, the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory, the stunning Akaka Falls and the Mami Mau gardens where we can enjoy a tram ride through the acres of botanical gardens. The Akaka Falls has an amazing drop of 442 ft. We will take our time to walk on the mile long path and enjoy the incredible views.
