While it may not sound scintillating, the 123 metre flagpole is amongst the world’s tallest, and the UAE flag flying proudly from it is near impossible to miss. Abu Dhabi’s green spaces are also well worth a look, these chill out zones in the city feature fountains, sculpture and neon light, and are lovely for relaxing in.
