Gothenburg is Sweden’s second city, being on the west coast it is famous for its 17th century canals. The main attractions are found in Central Gotaplatsen, home to the Botanical Gardens, street cafes, restaurants, boutiques and theatres.
City of Gothenburg: We follow the river to the viewpoint at Klippan which offers great views of Gothenburg and the Ivsborg Bridge. From here we journey to the red granite church at Masthuggskyrkan then on to central Gothenburg to the Museum of Fine Arts, the Concert Hall and the Municipal Theatre and Library. We then head to the fish market and the Botanical Gardens with its famous Rhododendron Valley. Finally we venture to the City Hall, Court House and the Stock Exchange.
