Gudvangen sits at the head of the Naerofjord amidst waterfalls, steep mountains and goat farms which are abundant in Gudvangen’s lush valleys.
White Caves, Stalheim Hotel and Folk Museum: Firstly we drive to the White Caves for an excursion into the limestone caves, where we will also enjoy refreshments. Next we travel on to the Stalheim Hotel which is built on the edge of a 300 metre high cliff. From the hotel we can see impressive views of the valley and the Sugarlump Mountain. Across from the hotel is the Stalheim Folk Museum which holds the largest privately owned collection of artefacts in Norway.
