Costa Maya was built to resemble a Mayan city. Three pavilions in Costa Maya play host to cultural events where artists sell their wares and guests are invited to create their own souvenirs.
Chacchoben Mayan Ruins: We take a four hour narrated tour to explore the Mayan ruins which lay undiscovered until 1999. These ruins date back to 360 AD, where once they played an important role in the distribution of jade, wood and exotic birds.
