Scenic Madeira: We journey through the centre of Funchal and pass through the village of Monte and up to Terreiro da Luta where we can view the most spectacular scenery. Finally we reach the summit of Pico do Arieriro where we enjoy the magnificent views of the bay.Botanical Gardens and Wine Lodge: We travel to the Botanical Gardens, a former private house with magnificent gardens. We then venture on to the Madeira Wine Lodge where we learn about the process of making Madeira wine and enjoy a tasting of the different Madeira vintages.
