Historic Halifax City Tour: This tour will guide you through Halifax’s somewhat turbulent history notably the Halifax Explosion, when in 1917 two ships collided in the harbour. Titanic – The Continuing Mystique: Halifax sealed its place in maritime history by becoming the resting place for 150 passengers of the ill-fated Titanic.  In the Fairlawn Cemetery 120 of the gravestones are arranged in the shape of a ship’s hull.  You can also visit the Maritime Museum which houses recovered artefacts of the Titanic.
