Mazatlan sits perfectly in the Pacific Ocean and is a lovely place to visit and explore its interesting history.
City Tour and Papantla Fliers’ Show: We journey along the ocean front for a view of the world’s highest lighthouse. We then travel on to the heart of old town Mazatlan to the cathedral and waterfront where we stop to watch the high divers. We also stop at the Golden Zone renowned for its arts and crafts, before we head to the Aztec Theatre where we will enjoy a show by the famous Papantla Fliers who climb 75 ft poles and perform acrobatic acts.Mazatlan Wildlife Expedition: We board our boat for a 4 mile ocean crossing where we will be able to see the harbour and our ship. On the way expect to see Mexican Brown Pelicans, herons, sea hawks and osprey. We disembark at a native farm and head on to the coconut plantations where we find our own private beach for one and a half hours of relaxation. On the way back to the ship we stop at Stone Island for a jungle-style barbeque. Back on the boat we feed the birds and watch as they take the fish from our hands, a great photo opportunity.
