Riga is the largest city of the Baltic States and a city brimming with a rich culture and historical architecture. At the centre of Riga is the restored old town with its cobbled streets, medieval buildings, towers and spires of ancient churches plus the 17th century German merchant houses.
Riga – The Pearl of the Baltic: We take a walking tour to see the amazing churches of St. Peter, St. George and St. John, also taking in the medieval houses known as the ‘Three Brothers’. We then proceed to the old town and Dome Square, home to the Dome cathedral. We then go on to Riga harbour and to the town of Sigulda known as ‘Latvian Switzerland’ for its stunning mountainous scenery.
