Exploring the Norwegian Fjords by ship is one of the most spectacular ways to see this stunning region. Mountain streams wind their way through vivid green hillsides. Towering cliffs soar dramatically from crystal clear waters. Mighty glaciers take on the blue hue of the sky above.

The newly built P&O Azura is the sister ship of the well-established P&O Ventura. Following an extravagant naming ceremony by celebrity ballet dancer Darcey Bussell, the Azura set sail on her maiden voyage in April 2010.
The Azura offers a family-friendly atmosphere, with facilities such as playgrounds and child-minding services available. The Azura also boasts a selection of bars, eleven different restaurants, a range of entertainments and great facilities for sports. Guests on the Azura can also enjoy four swimming pools, five boutiques and an open-air cinema!
The 900 balcony cabins are spread across fourteen passenger decks, and can hold a total of 3,100 guests. Each stateroom is fitted with all the comforts you’ll need during your stay, with a television, fridge, air-conditioning and an en-suite bathroom.
The dress code on the P&O Azura calls for smart casuals, with a number of extravagant, formal dinners taking place throughout the cruise. However, for those occasions when you get back late from a day trip and need to grab a quick bite, casual and informal dining is available at the Azura’s buffet restaurant.
The P&O Azura features an excellent range of dining options, ranging from informal buffet dining, to top class cuisine from world-class chefs. The Glass House is a wine bar and restaurant, created by TV’s Olly Smith. Here guests can enjoy innovative dishes from the signature menu, each one paired with a carefully selected variety of wine.
Alternatively, head over to Sindhu to enjoy Indian cuisine with a contemporary twist, created by celebrity chef Kochhar. Other options include the Italian-themed Verona and Venezia restaurants, as well as the Deck Grill, and poolside Pizzeria.
There are a good selection of bars to be found on the P&O Azura, including the chic multi-cultural Planet Bar, New York-inspired show lounge The Manhattan, and the sophisticated Malabar… here guests can enjoy fine Indian hospitality, including piano recitals and colourful cabaret.
Other ways to pass your time P&O Azura include one of the many shows at the 800-seat Playhouse theatre, an extensive shopping centre, an art gallery or the open-air poolside cinema. Alternatively, guests can indulge themselves with a treatment at the Azura’s extensive spa and fitness suite, featuring a techno-gym, thermal suite and facilities for tennis, football and cricket.
