We arrived at Barcelona and I must admit I was slightly put off by the masses all descending on the port at the same time but once we had all got on the ship and spread out it was fine. We were instantly upgraded to a balcony stateroom and to be honest I have stayed in much smaller hotel rooms. They had everything you need. When our toilet wouldnt flush one day I called for maintenance and literally 5 mins later they were outside the door and had fixed it. The ship is AMAZING! 5 star luxury and more, beautifully furnished with bars and restaurants to suit everyone. I walked round with a dropped jaw for the fist few hours. The staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The main restaurant is on 3 tiers and has a huge sweeping staircase that the waiters use to entertain you on. The entertainment we saw was first class and our only regret was that we didnt book for longer as its impossible to use all the facilities on a 5 day cruise. If you want to get glammed up you can but if you are into a more casual holiday then thats fine too. The windjammer restaurant is a huge circular buffet type restaurant serving beautiful food with lovely sea views. I went on the bridge and honked the ships horn ( charity raffle prize) and met the captain and his wife who were so friendly. Even though we were on our honeymoon we had children back home and found ourselves saying "they would love this" every 5 minutes. One day we will take them. The childrens facilities were excellent and the teens were very well catered for with their own area on the ship including basketball court, rock climbing wall, crazy golf, in line skating rink, teen disco and Jonny Rockets diner. If you are looking at reviews and havent booked - do it now ! PS - there were over 100 nationalities on the ship which we loved

The cruise ship itself was excellent. Our stateroom attendant was very courteous and made us animals out of towels which really impressed my mum. The food was excellent and the ice show was exceptional. We went on an organised tour to Rome, it was a half day but with the traffic we were only at St Peters for 30 minutes, it took 10 minutes to walk out of the bus terminal. What did spoil it was the lack of organisation as we disembarked. We were given the wrong coloured luggage tags but we didn't know this. If it had not been for a very nice couple we had met we would still be standing and waiting at the dock. I asked an attendant what to do and she said whatever you like. It seems we had been given labels for independant travellers. Once at the airport it was a free for all and I could not find a RCI rep to ask so myself and my 80 year old mother were aimlessly wandering around Barcellona airport. This has put me off travelling with RCI again. I also heard an American lady arguing she had been charged $200 for a trip she had not taken. This was mums first cruise and was booked because she is 80 this month and I wanted a special and memorable cruise for her, although we enjoyed it for the most part the fiasco at the end really made it memorable for the wrong reasons it was a very stressfull day.

Called at Stavanger, Copenhagen & Amsterdam. Recommend taking a canal boat trip (under your own steam) in the latter two ports. An impressive class of ship. We enjoyed the wine bar on the central 'mall'. The English Pub was very popular but very smokey. Mass catering in the restaurant for 3150 of us (two sittings). Good service and 4 star food. Staff on Royal Caribbean ships are very friendly and seem to enjoy their work; a good atmosphere on board. Try the 'Jade' restaurant (free) for Asian food. Other alternative dining experiences are charged but worth it (in my opinion). If you are on a longer cruise you may well get bored with the fairly ordinary cuisine in the main dining room, especially if you cruise with RC more than once; menus are the same on all ships all year round (as I write this). Embarkation/disembarkation at Southampton couldn't be better.

I had the great pleasure in visiting the Navigator on Saturday. My first impression of the ship was the size! When looking around the ship there are so many things for famillies, couples and individuals to do. For children there is a childrens club with plently of activities to keep them busy during the day and evening, i was surprised enough to even see a Ice Skating Rink on board, which looks alot of fun! During the visit we looked in a inside cabin which is very spacious and has all the amenties you will need. The balcony cabins are extremly nice, even with sun loungers on the balcony. We then looked round the pool area, and the spa area which is for adults only. The food in the Windjammer looked out of this world, The food was in a buffet style and had lots of variety. Overall i was very pleased that i had the chance to visit the Navigator, it is such a fantastic ship with so much to do! I am looking at booking up a cruise for next year very soon on the Navigator :-)

I was lucky enough to go to Southampton with some colleagues on Saturday 30 June to explore the Navigator of the Seas whilst she was docked at Southampton. We had a fully escorted tour of all the facilities on board - wow, you most certainly wouldn't get bored - there is just so much to do.... The children are particularly well catered for with individual clubs for each age group offering loads of activities at the Adventure Ocean centre. (If you are cruising, make sure you sign the kids up for the unlimited soft drinks package on your first day - at just $4 per day it's a steal). The cabins were all well appointed and spacious, even the inside cabins, with plenty of wardrobe space. The Promenade rooms give you the best of both worlds, inside cabins with a window overlooking the main promenade, perfect for people watching! The adult only pool area was impressive and had the most gorgeous decor. Excellent gym and spa facilities. Not forgetting the wonderful theatre where every seat has a full view of the stage to enjoy those magnificent shows and of course the great ice-skating rink. All in all a wonderful cruise ship taking facilities on offer to another level.

I went to visit the Navigator whilst in Southampton to have a look around the ship. I was overall very impressed. The ship is massive with endless facilities including the ice skating rink, rock climbing wall, Casino, Spa, huge gym and excellent kids facilities. The cabins really did impress me most. Even the most basic cabin was spacious and smart looking. The 3/4 berth cabins are well designed with the upper berths folding completley flat away when not used. The food was of a high standard, and staff were all very friendly. Over all, a great ship for all.

The first thing you notice about this ship is the size,Its huge.We boarded in Southampton and started a tour of the ship and were able to view all different types of cabin. The inside cabins were surprisingly spacious. All grade of cabins were well equiped with everything you would need. There were a number of bars onboard, my favourite being the pub on prom. deck. The gym and spa area were very impressive with a wide range of facilities available.Anyone travelling with kids will be please to know there is activities for all age groups rangeing from 3-17 year olds. We finished off our tour with a slap up lunch in the main dining room. The food was incredible and every diet is catered for.The dining room is a real feature on this ship. The ship is a member of the Voyager class and I have previously sailed on Voyager of the seas. The navigator didn't disapoint and to me it is a real bonus that it is now sailing from Southampton as I'm not the best flyer.I have now booked a 10 night sailing on the Navigator. If anyone is thinking about a cruise on this ship I assure you,you will not be disapointed.

I was lucky enough to visit the Navigator on 30th June 2007 whilst she was in dock at Southampton before she set sail again for her next voyage. I can safely say that from my first impressions of the Navigator, she continued to exceed them as we made our way round. We were able to look at a variation of cabins, from standard interior state room to family ocean view to royal suite, which was just outstanding. I particularly liked the promenade cabins as they overlooked the promenade which was my favourite part of the ship. I can only imagine what the atmosphere would be like in the evening! The same goes with regards to the casino also. More importantly what I really liked about the Navigator is she appeals to all age groups. From the dungeon nightclub for older customers to arcades and adventure ocean programmes for the younger generation. I would definitely recommend any customers considering a voyage on Navigator to definitely go ahead as I know I am considering going onto the 3 day cork cruise.

The Navigator of the Seas Voyager class ship and is basically a smaller version of the Freedom/Liberty but dont be fooled - its still absolutely huge!!! The decor is very similar too - in some areas like the promenade you could be on either of those ships. We were only on a short duration cruise but it ws still enough to samle the delights that Roayal Caribbean have on offer. Our cabin was lovely, it was an inside which overlooked the promenade - this gives the best of both worlds with the best value for money yet you still have a view. Do beware though - you must close your curtains at night or the whole promenade wcould possibly see inside! The ice rink onboard is a fabulous size, great fun to skate by day and even better to watch the ice shows - usually 3 times per week. These productions really are of a very high quality. The theatre also plays host to some top shows which could rival the London West End shows any day of the week. You'll be hard pushed to find a seat with a bad view and i also like the fact that some of the end-of-row seats are removable so that wheelchair users can slide in comfortably. The pool areas ar very spaciaous and i esecially loved the adult only pool area which was in a kind of venetian/roman theme. Very relaxing! I have to say i didnt use the gym at all but i did go to take a look - it was enormous, every machine you could imagine. It wore me out just watching! It didnt seem too busy either which is always a good thing. The spa is attached to the gym and was also pretty impressive. Treatments didnt seem to expensive, about the price you'd pay in the UK i guess. The main dining room really was impressive - i loved the grand decor and the chandeliers. The food was very good and the service couldnt be faulted. If you didnt want to eat there the bbuffet restaurant (the windjammer) was very good indeed. All the food was delicious, varied and piping hot. The childrens area is very well facilitated and well thought out. The arcade was my favourite - you dont have to be a kid to play space invaders you know!! Another of my favourite haunts was the casino - the decor is very OTT and Las Vegas but it all adds to the experience! All in all a fabulous ship!

Eighteen friends and family went onboard Navigator in October 2003. We had a fantastic time, English pub a good meeting place in the evenings, an amazing promenade through middle of ship. All our cabins were together and we all sat together in Dining room, waiting staff were superb. Food was excellent, I particually liked Ben and Jerry's ice cream parlour. a really memorable cruise.

We flew to Miami 23rd October quite surprised that we were actually going to fly as a hurricane was heading for the Florida keys exactly where we were going arriving there an hour before the hurricane hit. No water, electricity or hot food for 4 days. However we coped and 2 days later boarded Navigator of the Seas what a differance, I thought we had gone to heaven and cannot wait for our next cruise, shall not be bothering with Miami again !
