The AmaLegro is a sleek, stylish river cruise ship, from the ever-popular AMA Waterways fleet. Combining hotel class accommodation with some innovative onboard features, the AmaLegro represents a revolution in river cruises.
During a cruise on AmaLegro, guests will have the opportunity to stop off at a number of top destinations along the way. AMA Waterways run an excellent bicycle hire program, which means that every time you arrive at a port, you can hop ashore for the day with a couple of bikes. Many of the towns and rural areas visited by the AmaLegro feature good foot and cycle paths, so you’ll be able to explore far and wide during the day, before returning to the AmaLegro for a delicious meal, and maybe a cocktail or two.
The AmaLegro has space onboard for 148 guests, and features a range of comfortable, spacious staterooms on the Cello Deck. All cabins feature air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms, as well as luxurious bedding and bathrobes. Guests can also take advantage of a fully equipped infotainment system, which allows you access to an extensive library of movies, as well as full internet connectivity.
Facilities onboard the AmaLegro are varied and diverse, ranging from bicycle hire programs to passenger lifts. Head to the Violin Deck, to make use of the ship’s extensive wellness area. Here you can enjoy an invigorating massage, or get a workout, with a good selection of weights and exercise machines on offer. Alternatively, just unwind and enjoy the view from the Aft Lounge, with its large French windows onto the deck.
Guests onboard the AmaLegro can dine in style at the restaurant on the top deck, where a range of exciting dishes are served in elegant surroundings. Chose from local produce, choice cuts of meat or fresh seafood. AMA Waterway’s well-trained chefs offer an exciting and innovative selection of gourmet dishes – as well as a lavish breakfast buffet, which includes options as diverse as croissants and pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, cheese, salami and smoked salmon. Or, if a continental breakfast isn’t really your thing, you can always opt for a hearty fry-up instead! Lunch is often served out on the deck while sailing between ports.
Later in the evening, head to the Panorama Lounge to enjoy a coffee, long drink or a cocktail.
