AMA Waterways offer a bicycle hire program, so when you cruise on AmaLyra, you can make easy work of exploring the local towns and villages that you pass. Just step ashore with your bicycles, and enjoy a relaxing cycle excursion, before returning to the AmaLyra for a hearty meal and some evening entertainments.

Staterooms onboard the AmaLyra are comfortable, spacious, and equipped with a range of modern amenities. Guests can enjoy air-conditioning, great views and a stylish en-suite bathroom, complete with complimentary bathrobes. Each stateroom also includes a comprehensive infotainment system, which incorporates an extensive library of movies, music, and full internet access.

Guests on the AmaLyra will also have the option of upgrading to a luxury Junior Suite, which boasts 255 square feet of living space, including sofas, French windows and large, luxurious bathrooms.

The AmaLyra’s restaurant can be found on the top deck, and here guests can enjoy a fabulous selection of gourmet meals in elegant, stately surroundings. The expert chefs of AMA Waterways use only the finest fresh ingredients, serving up some culinary treats that include choice cuts of meat, fresh seafood and local produce. 

Breakfast takes the form of an extensive buffet, with options such as cereals, yoghurt, croissants and pastries, fruit, bread, cheese, salami and smoked salmon! With so many options on offer, you can be sure of getting a good, hearty start to your day. Alternatively, if you’re celebrating a special occasion you could always book yourselves in for a lavish champagne breakfast.

Later in the evening, guests can retreat to the AmaLyra’s Panorama Lounge. Here you’ll be able to enjoy picturesque views over the surrounding landscape, as you enjoy a coffee, light snack or a wide choice of alcoholic beverages. On some evenings during your cruise, live entertainments will also be organized.

The AmaLyra also boats an extensive wellness area, where guests can go to get an invigorating massage, or take advantage of a wide range of weights and exercise machines.
