The chief dining attraction is 1,300-seat, two-deck Empire dining room done up in Napoleonic pomp, with ceiling domes painted with murals and hung with crystal chandeliers. Then there’s the reservations only, 156-seat Nouveau Supper Club – a pristine pleasure. The casual alternatives are the La Playa Grill, with buffet style breakfasts and lunches, the 24-hour pizzeria, common to most Carnival Cruises, and a grill by the pool serving hamburgers and fries. For your coffee needs, there’s the Fountain Café, for afternoon tea, the Artist’s Lobby.

Carnival Spirit cruise’s nightlife are famed, the ship has twelve lounges and bars to compliment every mood, many of which feature live music (everything from country to old standards, jazz and modern dance music). The Atrium Bar is at the hub of pre-dinner socializing, where many dance to the sounds of the guitarist or saxophonist perched above the bar. There’s the popular Shanghai Bar, a sing-along piano bar, and the three-tier Pharaoh's Palace, with its hieroglyphics, 6 metre tall stone figures and sarcophagi inspired by King Tut.

With the family in mind, the Camp Carnival program offers activities for children and teens aged 2-17.
