The Splendor is Carnival's largest ship, designed to accommodate up to 3,744 passengers, it is themed by Carnival architect Joe Farcus on ‘Splendid Things’, a celebration of the fabulous, luxuriant and elegant. The 113,300-ton cruise is a new class of vessel for Carnival. On Carnival Splendor cruises you’ll notice the most impressive feature is its gargantuan 21,000-square-foot spa, the most sophisticated in the fleet. And with 22 lounges and bars, outdoor movies, water slide and a serenading maitre d', the Carnival Splendour is much in line with Carnival’s chief priority – providing passengers with a uniquely entertaining voyage. 

The central attractions on this enormous ship are a decadent casino, a super-modern video arcade and the Spectacular ‘Spectacular’ (Splendor's main show lounge). There’s the Red Carpet Dance Club, with a DJ that entertains with a 70's and 80's hour.

What’s aboard the Carnival Splendour

Splendor's main dining rooms, The Gold Pearl and The Black Pearl are extravagant halls, seating a total of 1,750 guests. Then there are the Diners, offering everything from a super Indian tandoori grill, a sushi bar, a stir-fry station and an attractive alternative restaurant. There’s the Pinnacle supper club, is where late night diners take their meal before enjoining their fellow passengers on an evening’s fun. On your Carnival Splendor cruise, you’ll find the Splendido Lido serving a continental breakfast, and specially positioned stations serving tandoori, New York deli-style sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dogs, as well as 24-hour pizza. There’s also complimentary room service.

As for your nighttime entertainment on Carnival Splendor cruises there’s ‘El Morocco’, reconstructing the celebrated 1930's New York supper club of the same name with its zebra deco and palm trees. The bar Old Havana mimics a sidewalk cafe. Other attractions include a charming piano bar, a sports bar with eight TV screens, and the lobby bar, which features a diversity of music from classical to soul. There’s also the Carnival Splendor casino where chancers sit with their chips into the early hours. For kids and teens on your Carnival Splendor cruises there’s a multitude of entertainment – there’s Camp Carnival, for 2-11 year olds, Circle C, for ages 12-14, and Club 02, which serves a nightspot for 15-17 year olds.

For the best in relaxation, there’s the Carnival Splendor Cloud 9 Spa, the largest in the Carnival fleet, where you can indulge in all manner of pampering. Of course, there’s the pool, sun decks and sports decks – with the Lido Pool offering a closing glass sky-dome that permits swimmers to continue with their frolics even when the weather looks less than fun.
