Celebrity Century - Celebeity Cruises
Sleek, efficient and with a sophisticated onboard atmosphere, Century Class ships are styled with elements of the traditional and the contemporary in cruiser-design. Taking up to 1,814 passengers, they are large-sized open ocean cruisers very well equipped for your break with Celebrity Cruises.
Onboard you might choose fine gourmet dining in one of several distinguished restaurants, the delights of the world class Elemis AquaSpa, or the stylish atmosphere at the Martini Bar, Rendezvous Lounge or Cova Café Milano.
The key word on your cruises aboard the Celebrity Century is elegance – and you’ll find that your evenings pursuits on your Celebrity Cruises will offer a slight raising of the bar compared to the run-of-the-mill booze-cruise experiences – think fine dining, sophisticated night-spots and café-bars, and truly graceful, state-of-the-art spas and swimming pools.
Facilities on Celebrity Century
‘The Grand’, Celebrity Century's sprawling, two-story dining room is main place for dining on the boat. It serves open seating breakfast and lunch, and then offers two seatings for dinner at 6 and 8:30 p.m. With a focus of French cuisine, there’s a nicely stylish and varied menu to be enjoyed by guests here. The alternative to this option – the tasteful Murano restaurant, a more expensive and stylish affair on the 5th deck. Then there’s the newly designed lido, ‘Casual Dining Boulevard’, offering a variety of stations and options, from breakfast's homemade waffles to lunch's sandwich soup and salad bar. A more casual stop to the chief restaurant is The Pizza and Pasta Centre, with a delicious range of Italian-style fare. Something you can’t miss on your cruise with Celebrity Century is the delicious fresh fish at the Sushi Café.
In the evening you’ll find the Celebrity Century cruise rich with things to do. One of those is the Entertainment Deck, with its focal point of souvenir shops, selling itinerary-specific fashions and collectibles – a nice touch. Then there’s the Martini Bar, where you can sip a cocktail amidst an ice-cool décor and stylish bar staff. Also onboard: the elegant Michael's Club and Rendezvous Square, with musical performers and dancing, the Crystal Room Night Club, a secondary performance venue, and Hemispheres, the top-of-the-ship observation lounge and disco. Or, if you’re not in the mood for too much socialising, you can head over to the Cova Café Milano and get on with your novel, accompanied by an aperitif. For kids and teens, there’s the Fun Factory, for younger children, and the X-treme facility for teenagers.
For full-on relaxation on your the Celebrity Century cruises, there are two swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, and a deluxe, state-of-the-art AquaSpa, a unique and revitalising experience.

What a fine ship the Century is. Lovely public rooms, that are spacious and elegant. A lovely atrium and reception desk. The restaraunt at the rear is something else with the dual level and the fantastic pillars. The cabins were neat, tidy and cosy. Food was extremely good, although the vegetables were a bit hard! (a wee bit petty I know) The ports of call were very interesting. Amsterdam (embarked) Oslo, Stolkholm, Helsinki St Petersburg (2 days), Talinn, Gdynia, Rostock and finally returning to Amsterdam. What a delightful ship!

This was my first short cruise, but is was really relaxing and felt like a week. Ship was great staff fantastic food fabulous! Same effort as if it was a longer cruise would certainly do it again!!
