Sapphire Princess cruises are the perfect way to enjoy modern luxury. The ship was recently built and has many of the Princess Cruises design features that have made them such a popular cruise line, from the great shopping and bars on the Promenade Deck to the well renowned Princess Theatre.
There are a whole host of restaurants and bars to choose from including a dedicated Cigar Lounge. If you can’t decide where to eat 24 hour room service is available, and there are bars spread throughout the ship so you’re never far from a place for a great cup of coffee or glass of wine.
The staterooms on Sapphire Princess cruises are all well-appointed with en-suite bathrooms, TV and mini fridge. If you want to splash the cash you can even spend your holiday in a luxurious suite with a stunning balcony, and with over 700 balconies many of the staterooms have them too.
Children are welcome on cruises on Sapphire Princess, and there are a range of activities split into appropriate age groups (3-7, 8-12 and 13-17). Don’t worry if you don’t want your romantic break spoilt though – The Sanctuary is adults only and provides a haven away from the kids, whether they’re your own or other people’s!
When you’re a guest on Sapphire Princess Cruises, there’s a huge choice of entertainment for your evenings, and activities to fill your days. The Princess Theatre puts on regular performances, and you can while away the hour’s playing cards in the Grand Casino. There are also three nightclubs: Fusion Club, Sky walkers Nightclub, and the Explorer’s Lounge, where you can see traditional club performances.
There’s one main dining room on cruises on Sapphire Princess, where you can attend meals at fixed times. If you want to choose when you eat, there are four other dining rooms across the ship. If that’s not enough, there are several speciality restaurants including an Italian and a steakhouse, as well as a range of drink and snack bars.
You needn’t worry about being bored on the Sapphire Princess. You can choose from taking a dip in one of the three pools, playing some virtual golf, jogging, playing tennis, shuffle board, spa treatments, shopping and even attending lectures on the local area. To top it all off, you can even get married in the Hearts & Minds Wedding Chapel.
The Sapphire Princess is the perfect liner for getting away from it all with your partner or a great, relaxing family holiday.

Just returned from land tour of rockie mountains and cruise to alaska on saphire princess 14 june to 27 june First of allland tour and cruise director blair keating were excellent Unfortunitely the weather for cruise was verry wet in fact it was raining when we joined ship on the sunday at noon and it rained non stop untill thursday at noon and nowhere looks at its best when it is raining As regards ship [ ventura lookalike] excellent food service entertainment only minor complaints ie grossly over priced tours and and re curring problem of people reserving up to four seats for friends in theatre despite continual anouncements not to do so The presence of an officer might alivate problem
This was our 1st cruise with Princess and we were very pleased. Ports of call were superb but some tours were over priced especially Nagasaki, which can be done on your own.Long queues for immigration at Japan on ship which caused huge problems, but as was a new requirement may well get better. Ship was very clean, and although big had plenty of space for all. Bar staff very attentive. Have since booked with Princess again for Panama cruise Nov 08.
Unfortunately the cruise was too short, no sooner we were onboard we were disembarking. Having said that it was a fantastic cruise - the places, scenery and wildlife was breathtaking.
