Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas is a large vessel, featuring a sleek super-yacht design. With thirteen decks packed full of innovative facilities and exciting entertainments, guests onboard Serenade of the Seas can partake in a varied range of activities.

Families are well catered for on Serenade of the Seas, with a number of facilities aimed exclusively at younger passengers. Facilities on Serenade of the Seas

From a golf simulator to a 200ft rock-climbing wall, Serenade of the Seas will amaze passengers with its range of innovative facilities. Start your explorations with a trip down to the magnificent nine-deck Centrum, where you’ll be able to browse through Serenade of the Seas extensive range of boutiques and duty-free outlets.

Restaurants onboard range from Italian cuisine at the Portofino Restaurant, to the continental themed steak house, Chops Grill. Alternatively, head to the main dining room to enjoy extravagant five-course gala dinners, along with exceptional table service.

If you’re looking for something a little less formal, guests can grab a drink and a light meal fro a number of different bars and lounges – including the Seaview Café, with its panoramic ocean views. Later in the evening, visit one of Serenade of the Seas’ lounges to enjoy entertainments ranging from live music to cabaret shows.

Other facilities onboard Royal Caribbean Cruises’ Serenade of the Seas include a fitness centre, where guests can take advantage of exercise machines, aerobics classes and a jogging track. For something a little more relaxing, the Ship Shape Spa offers a range of invigorating treatments, ranging from facials to full-body massage.

A very good 4star cruise. The 'mass catering' in the restaurant was OK, but you need to book Portofino's and Chops Grill to elevate your dining experience ($20 a head). Service good but has become 'regimented' in the dining room so the staff are not empowered to adjust their service to the customer type/requirements. Very good buffet where food is set out on islands (removes queues). Balcony of a good size! Weather in Alaska dodgy even in better months (I was told) so take rain gear. Still a Royal Caribbean fan despite minor grumbles.

This was my first time on a cruise, i would go again tommorrow if i could. I had a fab time and was treated very well by all the staff. The facilitys were excellent and kept me fully occupied for the length of my trip. i would advise anyone of trying a vacation on the serenade. You will have a holiday of a lifetime.

Serenade of the Seas, a new ship launched earlier that year. A fantastic cruise ship which couldn't be faulted, our first cruise but definitely not the last.
